a Web-based Email Facility GroupMail provides a complete email service to anyone having access to a browser which can connect to the internet. Since many institutions such as schools and libraries provide free public access to the internet, it is not necessary to purchase a dial-up or cable account from an ISP in order to use email. GroupMail is a full-featured email client which can accomodate any number of users consistent with web server resources available. Each user is allocated a block of file storage space to hold personal files, mail folders, address book etc. The user interface is friendly and intuitive and includes a modest help facility. GroupMail is intended primarily for use by people who are connected in some way e.g. family, school, social or church group, business or government office, K-12 children etc. For this reason it has an Intercom facility which provides near instantaneous delivery of messages without the need for regular email. Users are known to one another through a posted member list. Sending and receiving attachments is supported. Prospective users can register or login using the form below.
